Beer Trade

Last week I brought Brandon and Rich at the Charleston Beer Exchange some Brunswick style stew that I had made with some Highland seasonal brew. I made it with carrots, onion, celery, garlic, stewed tomatoes, corn, a whole pork butt, and beer.  In trade, Brandon gave me a Victory Helios.  It was good.  Probably the same Belgian style yeast used in Golden Monkey.  They use subtle European hops that lightly shine through.  It’s a nice middle of the way beer for the season.
