My Current Beers

This past Wednesday, August 12th me and a friend brewed a Wit Beer for the first time.  We only used about 10 lb of wheat and 3 oz of hops for a 5.5 gl batch.  I’m thinking it’ll be a nice easy drinking, end of the summertime beer.  Fermentation took off quick and it smells delicious.  I also went ahead and bought ingredients for the next batch.  I felt like doing a Belgian IPA so I went ahead and got about 17 lb of grain, 6 oz of hops, and a Belgian Strong Ale yeast.  I figure it’s something that I can stash away and drink with everybody at Thanksgiving.  It should be pretty strong.
