Kegged First Single Hop

IMG_0515We kegged the first Single Hop IPA that we brewed.  We used forced carbonation rather than the priming sugar that we usually use when bottling.  It turned out great.  It’s all centennial hops.  We used 4 oz. of hop pellets during the 90 minute boil and then dry hopped it with 1 oz. during secondary fermentation.  I think it’s the most well balanced beer that we’ve brewed to date.  In the other two fermenters, we have the same recipe with different hops – one Chinook and one Brambling Cross.  They’ll be ready to keg soon.  We also just bought ingredients for a English Porter.
