Growlers On Folly Beach

Thursday, October 7th, 2010

Southeastern Tap Technicians just finished installing a draft beer system at Bert’s Market on Folly Beach.  There isn’t any on site consumption, but 64 oz. growlers will be available to take home.  During the summer they will offer a plastic growler option to take to the beach.  They have six beers to choose from.  Right now they have started with Victory Prima Pils, Allagash White, RJ Rockers Peach, Franziskaner, Great Divide Hercules, and PBR.  They will be using my business for their draft maintenance and having their lines cleaned every two weeks.

Autumn Maple from The Bruerey

Thursday, October 7th, 2010

My new favorite fall seasonal.  This beer is delicious.  Has some of the characteristics of a pumpkin beer but it’s made with yams, molasses, and maple syrup, then they  ferment it with Belgian yeast.  I haven’t tried a beer from The Bruery that I don’t like.
